Community Open House

In the first of a series of community meetings planned to garner public input regarding the revitalization of Lathrop Homes, Lathrop Community Partners (LCP) invited the public to an open house on November 15 and 17 to provide their ideas and feedback on three concepts for the future of Lathrop Homes.  The three presentations, which included a video and series of explanatory boards, are included below.

What's Next? The Open House discussions and feedback surveys - available at the links below - will inform the next step in the planning process. In order to help the community focus on one tangible plan, CHA has determined, and LCP has agreed, to modify the planning process. Input from Open House weekend suggested that the three-draft-plan strategy was confusing. The CHA/LCP team will present one draft plan near the end of February that will consolidate all of the input it has received to date and gathered in the upcoming weeks through community organization discussions.

CHA and LCP look forward to continuing this robust community planning process as we develop a master plan by March 2013.

Survey Results More than 200 feedback surveys were collected from a diverse cross-section of community residents. The open house feedback surveys can be found below.
